Two Continents of Flavor
Chef Mike has spent over two decades learning and honing his craft in some of the most celebrated kitchens in Michigan and Italy. His journey took him through the legendary Golden Mushroom, Charley's Crab, and Redd Dunn Kitchen before crossing the Atlantic.
In Tuscany, he worked at the Michelin-starred Osteria di Passignano, then served as head chef at Il Camoscio in Ovindoli — his family's hometown in the Apennine mountains.
Today, Mitten & Boot is where those two worlds meet: the warmth of Michigan community and the soul of Italian tradition, served fresh every day on Northwestern Highway.
